Layer Cake: This movie comes to us from the producers of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch. Again we have an all British cast- this time the story revolves around a drug dealer….or as he says “a middle man in the drug business”. The movie starts with an easy premise, but as the story develops the more “layered” or confusing it all becomes. I think the idea was great, but they made the mistake of trying too hard to make the story surprising…..plus with English accents it makes it even harder to follow.
